Toast Nebraska Wine Festival

Times: 4-9 PM Friday, 12-8PM Saturday

Admission: $35-$75 for drinkers; $25 for designated drivers

Nebraska wineries offer free tastings, artisan and food vendors supply their finest offerings, and viticulture educators pour out the knowledge. Your ticket includes all this, as well as a wine tote and tasting glass. Lawn games and music keep the party flowing. 

Jurassic Adventure

Dates: May 11, 2023 – May 14, 2023

Location: Lee G. Simmons Conservation Park and Wildlife Safari | 16406 N 292nd St, located off I-80, Exit 426Ashland, NE 68003

Times: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Admission: $12 adults (12 and over), $10 children (3-11), free for members

Designed by Dino Dan, Inc, a company founded by Don Lessem, a dinosaur adviser to Steven Spielberg for the film “Jurassic Park,” the world’s largest and most life-like robotic dinosaurs roar, move, and even breathe at Wildlife Safari Park outside of Omaha. Drive by some, walk by others, and grab a dinoselfie with the beasts up to 60 feet long and 35 feet tall.

Renaissance Festival of Nebraska

A lifelong fan of both the classic film and the groundbreaking fantasy novel, Alarcón uses the magic of dance to create an unforgettable experience through her interpretation of the beloved Oz story and its iconic characters: Dorothy, the storm-tossed but unflappable heroine; her companions the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion; the Good Witch and the Wicked Witch; and, of course, the Wizard himself.
