Holy Name Catholic Church Fish Fry

Located at 2901 Fontenelle Blvd., Holy Name hosts its annual “Fryday” fish fry Fridays during Lent from 4 to 8 p.m. (Tip: They usually begin thte Friday before every other fish fry). 

Bring your own drink if you prefer, but adult beverages will be sold inside the fish fry. If you prefer not to wait in line, it’s recommended you arrive early. People arriving at 6 p.m. can expect a substantial wait. 

Tickets typically run $13 per adult, $10 for seniors, and $7 for children under 12. Holy Name traditionally serves Alaska pollock.

Bellevue Knights of Columbus Council 6192 Fish Fries

Lenten Fish Fries are held every Friday beginning Feb. 24, including Good Friday, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Knights Event Center, 1020 Lincoln Road, Bellevue, Neb.

Prices range from $4-$14 with menu ordering and sit-down waiter service. Family-friendly. Full service bar. Cash, check & credit/debit cards are accepted. Dine-In, take-out and drive-thru are available. Call the Knights Event Center at (402) 291-6887 to place a take out/drive thru order.

Dinners: Baked Atlantic salmon, fried jumbo shrimp, fried fish (cod), cheese stuffed pasta shells. The Special is a Fried Fish Sandwich with fries and coleslaw. Dinners include baked potato or french fries, coleslaw or clam chowder, bread, coffee or iced tea. Ala Carte choices: grilled cheese sandwich, fish sandwich or a large slice of four-cheese pizza. Sides: french fries, coleslaw & clam chowder. Desserts will be sold separately by the Catholic Daughters (cash or check only).

St. Patrick Catholic Chruch Fish Fry

The Elkhorn parish adds entertainment to its annual Lenten fish fry, including a magician, clowns who make balloon animals, and face painting.

The dinner menu includes fried and baked fish, fried shrimp, French fries, mac and cheese, green beans, and coleslaw. St. Patrick Catholic Church, 20500 West Maple Road. Price TBD.

Croatian Cultural Society of Omaha Fish Fry

With a menu of fried and baked fish with fries or baked potato and coleslaw or macaroni and cheese, visitors to the Croatian Cultural Society of Omaha can also learn more about the area’s Croatian heritage.

The fish fry is known for its large portions of fried and baked fish, as well as macaroni and cheese and dessert. The fish fry also features a full bar.

In the past, dinners are $10 per adult and $5 for elementary school students. Children under 5 eat for free. The Croatian Cultural Society does accept credit cards.

Church of the Holy Spirit Fish Fry

Church of the Holy Spirit will have Lenten fish fries Fridays from Feb. 24 through March 31 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. in the St John the Baptist School Gym, 500 S. 18th St., Plattsmouth. There will be live entertainment from 5 to 7 p.m.

Entree choices are fried Alaskan Pollock, baked salmon, and fried shrimp. All meals include cole slaw, bread, dessert or ice cream. Large plates are $11 and small plates are $8. Complementary water and coffee. Beer, wine, bottled water and soda available for purchase. Credit cards, checks and cash accepted. Dine-in or carryout.

Peace, Love, Fish Fry

St. Bernard Catholic Community, 3604 N. 65th St., has a one-day only fish fry called Peace, Love, FishFry on March 24, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the school. 

Tickets available at the door for $12/adults, $10/seniors, $7/kids, and 3 & under free.
